The 12 week transformation has changed my whole outlook on health and fitness. From starting out as a dedicated couch potato through to someone who now loves going to the gym and can see and feel improvements every week, I have enjoyed every single day of the transformation. Some of the highlights are; meeting a Personal Trainer for the first time who says “I am in the Marines, We only have half an hour, lets get those legs ruined” – and then does (Thanks Chris), dry heaving during a particularly brutal thirty minute burpee/deadlift/press session (Thanks Simon Dawes), and a massive thanks to Simon Murray whose sessions were brilliant. Always varied, effective and interesting with tons of encouragement and helpful advice along the way; “try not to drop dumbells on your face” (came so close. twice.) and “please don’t fall off” (hill sprints on the treadmill – horrific), as well as learning the correct form and technique that will allow me to keep progressing and achieving far more than I ever thought I could. Good taste in music too. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Maggie who inspiration and motivation has been exceptional, whose knowledge has empowered me to make positive changes to my lifestyle and whose honesty has cheered me up no end – “you look loads better, you used to look like an old chap!”. Thank you, it’s been amazing.
