“Approaching 40 & weighing 213lbs, I knew I needed to take action. I always wanted to do a transformation & now was the time! Apprehensive at the thought of living on green beans & white fish with endless cardio, I was hesitant, but it needed to happen. After a weigh in and calliper, I was at 29.4% body fat! All throughout, Mags was positive & explained what would be required. When I received the meal plan, I was pleasantly surprised at what & how much I could eat! Day 1 & my dread of endless cardio was dismissed with a structured weight training programme & zero cardio! The sessions were informative, varied, & never repetitive. Craig offered various alternatives if there were foods that I couldn't eat, & meals can be altered if you are hungry/full at different times of day. Everything is structured around you & taken care of. All you have to do is commit & follow through the instructions. I'm in the best shape I've ever been in, weighing 177lbs & 14% body fat. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.”

“Before I started the 8 week challenge I was all over with my diet and training. I had no real structure and my weight was on the increase. To get accepted was a massive boost for me, having Mags believe I could still pull it back when she saw how out of control I was getting. It got me back on track and more focused than ever before. The first 2 weeks I found hard, cutting the sugar & carbs & eating the 5/6 small meals a day, but after that my energy levels soared, my mood lifted and my sleeping improved. “Wow 12 weeks… This journey has been so energising, my eating habits have changed so much but NOT in a dieting type of way. There were no fads or stupid fasting I simply exchanged my bad eating for quality meats from Muscle Meat, veg and green tea! I have eaten better than I have in years, 5 meals a day including the weekly fillet steak or 2! Yes, now and again I could have murdered that cheat but waking up in the morning & realising I hadn’t was great. I have searched for a hobby for years and finally I feel I have found it. I have enjoyed every minute especially the way you feel when you walk out of the gym door every day knowing that you have just blasted it. The Personal Trainers pushed me every step of the way. The first time doing the “Grizzly Bear” with Simon definitely killed me but personal bests always need to be smashed! Thanks to everyone at Intershape Fitness.”

“The twelve week challenge has not only made me lose weight, tone up and look better it has completely changed my way of eating and my eating habits, it’s no longer a diet for me but a lifestyle change, which has shocked many of my friends and family who thought I could never give up my take always and weekend binges. I have even grown to love liquorice tea!!! Having said that…… The first few weeks I found very tough, I had bad cravings for the wrong foods, headaches etc but I got through it and saw the results I wanted in the end! The team at Intershape Fitness have been fantastic they have worked with me one on one and have tailored a plan to suit my body type. I have enjoyed doing the 12 week transformation, but for me it’s not going to end there. I am continuing to visit the gym and complete workouts that I have been taught during my 12 weeks… so watch out for further transformation pics!”

“The 12-week transformation has changed my whole outlook on health and fitness. From starting out as a dedicated couch potato through to someone who now loves going to the gym and can see and feel improvements every week, I have enjoyed every single day of the transformation. Some of the highlights are; meeting a Personal Trainer for the first time who says “I am in the Marines, We only have half an hour, lets get those legs ruined” – and then does (Thanks Chris), dry heaving during a particularly brutal thirty minute burpee/deadlift/press session (Thanks Simon Dawes), and a massive thanks to Simon Murray whose sessions were brilliant. Always varied, effective and interesting with tons of encouragement and helpful advice along the way; “try not to drop dumbbells on your face” (came so close. twice.) and “please don’t fall off” (hill sprints on the treadmill – horrific), as well as learning the correct form and technique that will allow me to keep progressing and achieving far more than I ever thought I could. Good taste in music too. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Maggie who inspiration and motivation has been exceptional, whose knowledge has empowered me to make positive changes to my lifestyle and whose honesty has cheered me up no end – “you look loads better, you used to look like an old chap!”. Thank you, it’s been amazing.”

“My 12 week transformation opened my eyes to how versatile training & diets can be. Pre 12 week transformation my foods, training and my overall approach become repetitive which affected my results, confidence and motivation to train. It wasn’t until I was given this opportunity that my life started to change dramatically. I became more alert, my appetite and energy levels increased and most importantly my confidence improved which enabled me to better myself socially and also in my career. All this wouldn’t have been possible without the professional, knowledgeable and dedicated approach Team Intershape have towards, not only to me, but to all their customers who want to change their lives for the better. The tailored diet and training plans put together for each individuals goals shows just how much Intershape pride them self’s in getting you in the shape of your life, not only physically, but mentally too. Intershape provide multiple training sites across the North West which included some of the best equipment around, but it doesn’t end there, Intershape introduced me to the finest meats and poultry I have ever come across in Muscle Meat, not only did I feel great eating grass fed meats, but my children grew an obsession to the chicken sausages, this gave me pride in knowing my children were eating good quality foods at such a young age. There is no better time to take the first steps towards a better you than now; start as you mean to go on, do what you fear, don’t fear what you do. Get Intershape!!”

“The 12-week challenge was hard from start to finish. Not just physically challenging but nutritionally at first. Eating all the right foods was a serious chore when most of the time I wanted a few chocolate eclairs or some junk food. Eating every 3 hours and taking in the right amount of water daily was hard in itself. Every gym session was harder than the last . There was a few times where i felt like screaming at Simon Dawes while doing the bear complex or other work outs he put together. I would be giving it 110% and he would still be egging me on to give more than I felt I didn’t physically have. The group session were a big like for me. Being very competitive I had to push harder and do more reps of every thing than everyone else. Training with Wayne was a big shock. I more than halved the weights I used in the gym, he improved my technique so I felt more of a burn and connection with my muscles than I ever have. I remember training shoulders, then leave the gym dragging my knuckles along the floor because I couldn’t lift them. Spinning with Nikki was good except for the screaming at us. Really enjoyed that! I even did some bokwa classes with lots of girls! Session and classes with Simon Murray were insane. Every class or personal training session I had with him, I felt sick afterwords. 110% intensity from start to finish . Although I massively missed chocolate when the 12 weeks ended I didn’t even want it. Now I look fantastic, I train twice a day and eat good as a habit. So I’m very thankful to team Intershape. :-)”
